To believe in an artist before the market confirms it — that is the work that matters most. At Art Central 2023, one of Asia’s leading contemporary art fairs, I presented the inaugural solo booth of Hong Kong abstract painter Sammi Mak: a committed, fully curated presentation of her work on a public stage. Having worked alongside Sammi since 2021, I knew what she was capable of, and I was certain her paintings deserved this moment.

I curated and selected the body of works, oversaw the full installation, and managed sales throughout the fair. The result was unambiguous: 80% of the booth sold.

For collectors, institutions, and brands considering how art might be identified, positioned, and brought to the right audience at the right time — this is the curatorial conviction and commercial clarity I bring.
