Picturesque was engaged by Soho House Hong Kong to provide comprehensive art direction and curation services for the flagship Sheung Wan location ahead of its September 2019 opening. The partnership was built on a decade-long professional relationship with the Chief Art Director, establishing a foundation of trust and shared vision essential to executing a project of this caliber within an accelerated timeline.

Our scope covered the full arc of the project — working alongside Soho House's in-house design and curation teams to refine artwork placements and spatial stories, coordinating framers and installation specialists, and phasing the rollout across renovation schedules. Throughout, careful art handling ensured every piece arrived and was installed exactly as intended.

Upon opening, we curated and facilitated a series of bespoke art experiences—guided tours tailored to diverse member demographics and interests—transforming the collection into a living dialogue between space, community, and artistic vision. This multifaceted approach ensured the art not only adorned the House, but became integral to the member experience.
