Bamboo scaffolding is one of Hong Kong's oldest building skills, and I loved watching its shadow fall across a glass curtain wall, old craft layered over new architecture. I worked cyan, magenta, yellow, and black ink by hand across plastic-coated paper, folding the paper so its creases guide the ink into a grid, like the windows of a façade, holding two eras in one frame.
